Remarks:
Advanced brown-rotted log. Monomitic, gen. hyphae 2-5 um, clamps, walls thin to 0.5 u thick-walled. Spore wall thin, hyaline, smooth, some slightly curved. Cystidioles nil. Context hyp. 3-6 ud, of 2 types: predominate, straight, 200+ u between clamps; smaller diam. (branched, mostly thin wall, some with few seg. thickened walls). No black lines over tubes. MArgin horny, translucent, sterile, 0.5mm wide. Field Collection No 11794

On lower surface of decorticated, rotted 12 cm. diam. Abies log. Cream-color when fresh. Monomitic, gen. hyphae 4 um, clamps, walls hyaline, thin to 0.5 u thick-walled. Spore wall thin, hyaline, smooth. Basid. 4-sterig., ca 8 u long. Filed Collection No. 11896

Remarks:
On interior of crumbly, brown-rotted log. Pores arise as pits in cottony subic, soft. Pale brownish yellow. Fine strands. Subic soft cottony. Pore dissip elongated where on vertical surface. Hyphal strands pallid to pale yellow, 230 ud, composed of parallel hyp. w clamps. Walls thin to 0.5 u thick, core of 10-20 hyp 10-13 ud, constricted of septa, surrounded by hyp 2-7 ud.
